Bulk Transaction
Submission is a way for providers to submit a large group of transactions
in an electronic batch format. Billing companies who require bulk
transaction service must call customer service at 858-523-2120.
The Bulk Transaction
service allows providers to save valuable time by quickly requesting
any size batch necessary, without the use of the standard input
form. The files are typically run on the evening of the submission.
Please contact HealthFusion at 858-523-2120 for information on
which plans are eligible for the bulk upload service.
Preparing a batch
file to process is as simple as creating a standard .csv file
from an any spreadsheet containing of the required data elements.
Note: the .csv file must comply with the HealthFusion format.

After
the data file is created, it can be securely submitted electronically
for processing via our web site by selecting the Bulk Transactions
link. Once HealthFusion receives the data file, it is processed
against the payer databases. The payer response is placed in the
Bulk Response Screen in the same easy to read format as other real-time
responses and a report is availible for download. A search engine
included on the bulk response screen makes it easy to sort and locate
a specific response.
- The order of all columns must match the template
- No commas are allowed in the file - to make sure that
your file is free of all commas please use the find and
replace function in your spreadsheet program
- All rows must have data for the columns that are mandatory
- Please remove the header row

Place
a Y (upper case only) - in the appropriate column. If the column
is blank or has an N, then a CSI or FSR will not be performed. Note:
A CSI must be performed if an FSR is requested.
