HealthFusion® Mobile Apps deliver new tools that physicians need to treat patients, no matter where you are, and to help ensure that you are in constant communication with your practice. Mobile Schedule and Patient Eligibility Status
With this new HealthFusion Mobile App, you will have instant access to your office schedule calendar on your iPhone™ or BlackBerry® smartphone device. Accessing a mobile application is easy — simply sign in to the HealthFusion Mobile App, and once logged on to your HealthFusion account, you can view your schedule and search by date, provider, and location. Mobile schedule information includes the date/time of an appointment, the patient's name, the type of appointment (based on your customized preferences), and the appointment status. While viewing the calendar, quickly confirm the eligibility status from insurance payers for each scheduled patient by color-coded dots next to the patient name (which indicate if eligibility has been run and coverage status).
Coming Soon: Mobile Charge Entry
The next mobile application to be released by HealthFusion will deliver charge entry functionality so you can remotely enter diagnosis and procedure codes on your smartphone. These tools are important for physicians to capture fees for services, particularly as you are making rounds at hospitals or after-hour calls to patients from home.
HealthFusion Mobile Apps are provided at no additional cost to HealthFusion customers. They will also be available for download at the Apple.com-hosted iPhone application store in the future.
