Charge Entry is completely integrated with HealthFusion’s Scheduling, Fee Schedule, and provider registration and maintenance features – Entering charges is as simple as assigning a procedure and diagnosis code from your Favorites List.

For repetitive visits, Charge Entry gets even easier with claim templates, patient episodes, and day end reviews.

With HealthFusion^® Claim Templates, you can save your favorite visit types for use with any patient in your practice and pre-fill all of the diagnosis, procedure, modifier, claim line order, units, and fees (Box 24 data on the CMS HCFA 1500 claim form) for a specific visit type.

With HealthFusion Patient Episodes, you can save a specific patient’s complete claim, including cause of the condition (Box 10 data on the CMS HCFA 1500 form), onset dates, and prior authorization information.

A Day End Review overview interface reconciles the number of appointments with the number of created claims – and alerts the user to any appointments that do not have a corresponding claim and completed superbill.

With HealthFusion’s Charge Entry feature, the claim creation process can be started at the front office with the selection of a template or episode and held for back office billing experts. Then, the billing experts can review and optimize the claim prior to saving it for transmission to the payer.
